Work From Home

For a veeeery long time now I have been looking for a profitable avenue to work from home. I mean to work in my residence and actually make a living, which would allow me to qualify what I do at home as [real] work. I have been working at and from home just about all my life (I was once a daughter, then a wife and mother, in that order) and the world, especially via the Internet, is not short of [ways and opportunities] to “work from home”. The sales/copy letters, pop-ups, links and emails do not stop coming through on my computer monitor. Right now I have in my junk email box, which is the responsibility of the server to clean, more than 5,000 emails. I am certain that they are all work at home opportunities, guaranteeing me the things that I dream and long for. However, I am certain that if I should attempt to look at even one, it will cost me some money, before it makes me any money. As a matter of fact, it is more likely to cost me a lot of money and make me no money at all – now or ever. Not to mention the time it is going to cost me. Once again my friends and family will come to know that I am off to another air-brain scheme, and they will venture to go beyond wondering to really question,

“When will you learn that those guys (I’m Canadian) are only there to make money out of you? You should stop wasting time and money on these wild goose chases.”

But good news! I finally think I am on to something that will fulfill my dreams. I have discovered writing for Triond.

Now I am not saying that I am suddenly making a lot of my money. I still have told my family about this venture. Their first question will be

“How much have you made already?”

And if I tell them the truth, they are going to include Triond in those pointless home-based businesses. But I write for Triond, because I see my dreams coming through. One of my greatest dreams is to be the author of a number one best seller. I wrote an article titled The Church, which is posted here. When I checked back about a month later, it had 4 responses, which unfortunately I do not get to read. The person who responded to my enquiry said that at this time Triond is not capable to accommodate “readbacks”. My spell-check underscored readbacks with a red squiggly line, meaning, as you all know, that Microsoft is saying ‘wrong spelling’, or ‘no such word in the English language’. Well in this case the latter is the reason for the red squiggly line. I just coined the term readbacks. I think the word is very definitive in meaning “reading back comments about your article”; and since we are in the millennial age of new technologies and inventions, I think very soon everyone will be using the word readbacks; and in the next edition of the dictionary it will be listed. I have very lofty goals. Readbacks are good. They help a writer to see their work from a different angle and thus improve their skills. I used to read back all the comments that my teachers wrote on my papers in school. Because they were in red, they scared many students, and they acted as if they thought the red meant ‘STOP! Do Not Read’. But it meant quite the opposite to me. I thought it meant ‘STOP. DEFINITELY READ! And Do Not Attempt to Go Another Step Until You Deal With What I Have Written Here’. So over the years I have come to appreciate comments to my work, because they do help me to improve my abilities. Anyways, I have strayed from the “work at home” topic so let’s get back. Readback. Get back. Reversing helps to make sure that you do not miss any important grounds, and that’s always profitable.

Earn Money With Triond

So as I was saying, Triond is a positive influence in my writing career. Apart from publishing my work for FREE, I earned some money. Now mind you, “My Income” says, “two cents” (0.02) and you might say, ‘that is not anything to get excited about’, but don’t you know that if you do not mind your cents you will never earn your dollars. And if you mind your ‘two cents’, you will not get in trouble in other people’s business, because you will be busy doing your own; O.K. so much for social philosophy. I should stick to the topic of “working from home”. Two cents is a good start. It encourages me to continue writing. Some people have never earned one penny for anything that they have written. I have not actually seen the 2-cents as yet. Triond will deposit it in a PayPal account, when I have earned fifty cents. No not the Rapper, although, he is good for the dough. I do not know why he valued himself at half price. (Just a little humour) Anyways, you can see that Triond expects my earnings to continue to rise. That’s the good part. The more I write the more I will earn. The more exposure my articles received, the more money I will see in my account.
