WASHINGTON, DC – The U.S. economy grew in the first quarter of this year at a rate of 1.9%, lower than the initially released, reported Thursday the Department of Commerce.
Feb. Consumer Spending Up, Income Lags
U.S.A consumers boosted their spending in February by the most in seven months. But Americans’ income barely grew and the saving rate fell to its lowest point in more than two years.
