Are chickens really what we think of them?

Chickens in my opinion are one of the cutest and funniest animals in the world. They have great personalities and are quite cuddly. There are many different species or varieties of chickens, but my favorite are the Isobrowns or how I call them-Laying Machines. They usually lay one egg a day and are fully brown like the pic below:

I could spend hours just sitting and observing and sometimes interacting with our chickens, and I could never get bored. The sounds they make are hilarious, let alone what they do! They definitely enjoy company, if it is chicken or human company. They will love you especially when you bring them a piece of bread. I honestly think having chickens is a great idea, and young children will have great fun with them. Just make sure you don’t get a rooster!
