The Best Dating Advice You Will Get Came From Your Grandma
Although sometimes it is hard to listen to the advise of the older generations, it is smart to learn from others who have made mistakes and learned from those mistakes.
There are thousands of articles, books and advise around us telling us the rules of attracting and keeping the opposite sex. These rules and games as I will call them will get you someone that also plays games and follows obstinate rules that do not pertain to long term relationships. Here are some guidelines that my Grandma taught me and they should work for each personality type.
1. Be yourself, maybe a cleaner more put together version of yourself in order to be more confident, but definitely portray who you are. If you are attracting someone to who you are, you have a better chance of them liking and being with you for the long haul.
2. Go to a place where you enjoy socializing, if you enjoy a dog-park, go to a dog-park. If you enjoy skiing, go skiing, you will then have something in common.
3. Use manners and common courtesy as if you were interviewing a potential employee. Treat the person with some respect and listen and respond to their conversation as if it were you.
