Some general information what to do in the early stages of a newborn puppy’s life, and how to take care of his health.
If your puppy has not been inoculated against distemper, hepatitis and rabies take him to the vet and arrange to have this done at the right time. Have your puppy wormed if the vet decides he needs it. It is safer to let the vet to do the worming than to risk giving your dog the wrong kind of drug or the wrong dosage.
A young puppy will sometimes need to have his eyes wiped, very gently, with cotton dipped in a solution of warm water and boric acid. Dear readers, take very good care of your newborn puppy, he needs attention and protection, to help him grow strong enough.
