Kong Dog Toy

To me the dog toy Kong is the best toy ever for a dog. My little schnauzer Harry is my little darling but when it comes to soft toys. Bones, Frisbees robes etc Harry normally wins. The toys are destroyed in seconds. We even bought him one of the extra tough toys that are supposedly made from the same stuff as army suits. Well that lasted a little longer. It lasted 10 instead of 5 minuets. When we bought the Kong we thought it didn’t stand a chance however we still have the original one we bought about a year ago and it’s still in one piece. Its great just stuff it with your dog’s favourite treats and it keeps them occupied for ages. So here is my top 10 treats to stuff your dogs Kong toy with.

1. my Harry loves peanut butter in his Kong and a value jar from the supermarket cost me under 50p
2. spreadable cheese like Philadelphia with a crumbled biscuit bone in
3. a frozen dog pop. Great in the summer
4. make a layer Kong put all your dogs favourite treats in the Kong in layers
5. chicken either some left over from a roast with a little gravy or just some sandwich chicken will do
6. a little bit of cooked sausage
7. a little bit of cheddar cheese
8. what about a healthy option Harry loves apple in his Kong toy
9. the Kong biscuit treat
10. Kong paste its great mixed with bones and treats and comes in loads of flavours
