Even If for Only a Short Time

You were brought to me, broken and starved for a love and family interaction.

They hurt you were your were, then they boxed you and sent you on your way. They had you in a box, then they crated you; then luckily for you and I, our roads crossed, and we became friends.

Then something happened; and I am not sure what, your going back to what? They’re taking you back a month too soon. I thought the purpose was to give you proper care; until the home designed for you would soon be available.

I am so sorry my friend; I don’t believe it will that way. They are taking you back to a box, or a crate. I don’t know if there will be anymore true love, or soft sofas, or loving arms. I am so sorry my friend, perhaps they should have left you were you were.

To bring you to our country, to box and crate you, poke and test you, how unfair that it, but I am glad you came to me, if only for a short time.
