Deciding to get a Dog
The topic of today’s article is to help you deicde to obtain a new best friend! It is also a HUGE job and takes a lot of work through the dog’s entire life. If you are looking for a good friend, a hunting partner, or just another member to the family, a dog will fill any purpose.
First you need to deicde what kind of dog you would like and would fit the roles you have in mind. I would recommend going to www.akc.org . They have excellent information on all different kinds of breeds and will help you decide on a breed.
Once decided on a breed, it is your responsiblity to learn all about your breed. Before you begin searching for a young puppy, be sure you have all the requirements meet. Make sure you have enough room for the dog, access to food and other things the dog may need.
When you have decided on a breed and have decided to get a dog, www.akc.org is an excellent place to look for breeders in your area. Begin searching but don’t be in a hurry! It is also a good idea to ask your neighbors what they think of you getting a dog
A dog is a big job and duty but it can be extremely rewarding!
