Annual Cost of Owning a Dog

Who doesn’t want to know the yearly cost of owning a dog? The cost can vary but here I will explain the usual amount that you can expect to spend on a dog in a year. Again, it can vary.
The costs can go on these things listed here:
- On dog food the yearly cost is around $550.
- On vet care the cost can vary but for an annual checkup it will be $50.
- On toys you can expect $25.
- On licensing you can expect to pay $25
- On dishes, you have to pay $14.
- On a crate you have to pay over $65
These are the amounts you can expect to pay to care for a dog in a year. Again, the cost can vary between dogs. Suppose a dog got sick, it would need veterinary care. So this is made to give you an idea on how much it can cost on a dog.

I am a dog owner and I found this list very incomplete. There is Pet Insurance available for your dog if those vet bills get out of control,kennel fees when you go on vacation without your dog, grooming fees and obedience training to name a few things you completely overlooked. Your yearly price quote of even owning a dog is not accurate and too low if you had carefully considered everything.

That estimate is WAY too low!!! No person in their right mind can buy a year’s worth of food for $150.00. As well, please give me the name of that vet that only charges $50.00 for a yearly checkup. Any vet I’ve been to charges that just for walking in the door!

Also vets can charge that low. How do you know are you a professional vet, because I am. Loser!!!
