An Oklahoma Blind Dog Finds Deep Canine Friendship with Another Sighted Dog

Blair, a Labrador mix soon discovered that Turner was blind and immediately started helping him out, guiding him around the treatment centre with a rope.

Two dogs, one having recovered from a gun shot wound while on the streets and another born blind are now living together and helping out each other at a treatment center in Tulsa Oklahoma. The amazing twist to this friendship is that the two have bonded so well that the blind dog that used to suffer repeated seizures appears to have been completely healed.

Blair and Turner were made to do exercise together one day at an adoption home and they immediately struck a deep canine friendship that has amazed Doctors at the Woodland Hospital. Turner who was born blind suddenly stopped his severe seizure, and Blair, a Labrador mix soon discovered that Turner was blind and immediately started helping him out, guiding him around the treatment centre with a rope. They definitely care for each other and this seems to have given the blind Turner a big confidence in life.

Even Blair which was referred to as timid by Doctors soon became active and more confident as they continued to live together. The intimate connection between the two dogs has grown so strong that Blair is often seen guiding Turner around voluntarily.

The other Mission of the Retriever Rescue organization that brought the two dogs to the treatment centre are now looking around for people willing to adopt the two dogs at once since they now seem inseparable. It is not clear whether this positive bonding between the two dogs will complicate finding someone willing to adopt them.
