Amazingly Unique Guinea Pig Breeds
See some of the cutest and most attractive breeds of one of the most popular small pets in the world – the Guinea Pig.
Guinea pigs have been domesticated as early as 5000 years BCE and there are many breeds have been developed since then. Unique and beautiful breeds have been developed that makes these little creatures appealing as pets.
Texel Guinea Pig

One of the loveliest-looking breeds of guinea pig is the Texel Guinea Pig. It is like a Silkie, but with curls. This lovely-looking breed originated from England. Its curly hair covers its entire body, including the stomach.
Peruvian Cavy

The hair of the attractive and captivating Peruvian is the forefather of all modern long-haired breeds. Its hair grows long continuously all over its body, sometimes to an excess of 20 in or 50 cm. Peruvians have their hair folded up in wraps to protect it and keep it clean. Long haired Guinea pigs have both a top and an undercoat, the latter of which will generally only grow to 6-7 inches or 15-17 cm.

Though most Peruvians kept as pets are regularly trimmed for ease of keeping, those in show coat should have hair that fans out to make the animal’s front and rear completely indistinguishable. The coat should be of an even length all over, and have a central part on the spine.

Skinny Pig

The weird-looking Skinny Pig is an almost hairless breed only a few hairs can be seen on muzzle, feet and legs and hairless over the remainder of its body. A healthy Skinny Pig has skin that is mostly smooth with some wrinkling around the legs and neck; the body is full with no appearance of spine or ribs.

I just found a couple of photos of my boys posted here.
the coronet is “Quinn”, and the red you have listed as a peruvian is actually also a coronet, although his coronet is difficult to see in this particular photo.
Another correction – the photo you have for the teddy is actually an abyssinian.
