Work: How to Plan Your Next 24 Hours
Do you have any idea what you could be doing the next 24 hours? With a pen and a paper or Excel you will see how much work you are not doing yet and the money you are losing.
Your brain forgets and loses direction, your Pen and Paper have timeless memory and they never lose the North like the popular expression says.
The day starts at midnight and I suggest you to start your day this way too. First thing to do is to pick a small piece of paper and write: To Do In 24 Hours.
Second thing to do is to write down all the work you need to do that day and you MUST finish it by the end of the day, which means until 23:59 PM.
Third thing to do is to write down how longer each task will take. And finally you need to write the importance of it from one to three. One is top importance, three is low importance. Ranks work this way. The lower the better.
Now it’s time to work. You see, when you have something telling you what to do you will work much faster than you could if you only had a mental idea of the work and the goals. You see, computer games are very easy to beat even the most complex games because everything is written down and everything is definitive. There is no change you can make, there is nothing you can delete and you must do everything you see in the game in order to win it. If you could change a thing you would just make things easier because it’s our nature.
Then the last thing you must do is to lock the paper with lines.
Now all you need to do is to work as fast as you can because you have only 24 hours to work, sleep, be wit your family, eat and all the other things. Time is probably the most scarce resource and now you will have a perfect picture of how true this is.
Finally the consequences of the non compliance with the paper must be severe, which means you must do something you hate but it’s good for you. Maybe cutting all the chocolate the next time you go shopping?
