Using a Diary and Toodledo

I recently wrote two articles about planning your day and setting goals, and I now I am going to tell you about two useful tool I use to help me with those things.

I recently wrote two articles about planning your day and setting goals, and I now I am going to tell you about two useful tool I use to help me with those things.

A Diary

Having a diary can help you keep organised and plan out what you need to do. It has certainly helped me out a lot. I am able to jot down what I have planned to do and on what days. Set aside some time to do these particular commitments, and I can then plan other things around them.

A Diary can also allow you to write down little reminders about certain things so when you check your diary you will see the reminder. A very useful piece of kit to have.

Toodledo - http://www.toodledo.com/

This site I found a couple of months ago. It is basically an online to do list where you can add things you want to do, and check them off when you have done them. It is a free service for the basic stuff and you can buy a pro account which allows you to use more tools and options, but this is not necessary. You can set a due date and also set the priority with the highest priority tasks at the top.

Toodledo has helped me greatly with listing my ideas and plans for what I want to do in the near and distant future. And that is all I basically use it for. I add things that I want to do, but not things I need to do right now. I then now I have them there where I will not forget about them, and when I get the time I can start doing some of these things.

My Diary I use to jot down articles I plan to write and when I will publish them on Triond, and also other stuff I want to post on other sites. And sometimes if I pick something out from my toodledo list I will mark out days in my diary when I will work on it.

This all allows me to feel more in control and on top of everything I need to do, and completely organised.
