Cut The Clutter
Clutter means accumulation of too much stuff, without proper organization or distinction. Lack of planning and implementation leads to clutter, which is the doorway to misery and should be got rid to create harmony and balance in our environment. So here are the tips to clutter control.

All of us wish to have a neat and clean home be it big or small. We think and aspire for something but end up doing something else. Weekends are spent shopping, accumulating waste items which would be used just for a day or two and throw out in one corner of the house to lie untouched for the next six months or more.
No doubt- you’ve already welcomed clutter into your home. We are the cause for the mess in our homes; should we not find ways to clear it to? A cluttered home leads to suffocated living, lack of clarity in thought, lack of happiness and in fact a miserable life.
Try the following steps to get rid of clutter:
- Begin the clearing process slowly. Give up on misguided notion that you can do it all at once in one massive effort.
- Do not wait until you have the time and energy to begin, start now. Begin slowly – proceed gently.
- Accept that it took time for all this mess to accumulate and it will take time to winnow it out.
- Tackle one small area at a time. The clutter will dwindle and your energy will get a boost.
- Get rid of everything you don’t need or don’t use.
- Set aside things which you think have not been used for the past six months, which will not even be used in future for sure.
- Sentimental objects that are important to you should be kept to a minimum.
- Start donating and gifting to the poor and needy, things which you consider will not be useful to you, but see to it that they are in good condition.
- Throw away junk mail and papers as soon as you get in.
- Beautify the main entrance, as the state of your main entry determines the quality of the energy that circulates throughout your house.
- At least once a week clean a clutter-attracting area like your desk, the junk drawer, hall table etc. You can even tackle one small space per day to really prevent a build-up.
If you follow these tips, you will one day triumph over the mess and start living in a tidy and organized space. Needless to say, you’ll fall back in love with your home and incoming clutter will be powerless in the face of your conscious attempt to get rid of it.
Less or no clutter, more space, ample light welcome happiness, health and may be wealth.

Excellent article and advice. I am a neat freak and I hate clutter. It drains your energy and can even make you sick. Yesterday as a matter of fact, I was watching a program on clutter. A couple came to the show because their house had approx 5 inches of clutter in their home. You can imagine the filth. Before even watching the show, I can honestly tell you that if it takes someone 5 years to clean up the mess then the problem lies within. Some people refuse to give up their items because they hold sentimental value but in order to attract good things into your life you must let go of the past. so fear and depression are usually reasons why a person enjoys living under these deplorable conditions. Get rid of it and open the windows and let some fresh air and sunshine too:) lol

I live in a small home so don’t have space for clutter. I think your article is well expressed. Having difficulty with posting comments, so I might just press the “I like it” on your work. I do try to read all your well done material, my friend.
