Why You Should Recycle Presents This Christmas

The decision to recycle presents lies in you. Many people have different agenda and principles when it comes to giving away presents that they have once received, especially during the Christmas season. For me, I have no qualms about recycling presents. Here are some of personal reasons why I love to recycle presents.
The decision to recycle presents lies in you. Many people have different agenda and principles when it comes to giving away presents that they have once received, especially during the Christmas season. For me, I have no qualms about recycling presents. Here are some of personal reasons why I love to recycle presents.
Save Money
A lot of money can be saved when you recycle presents. If you have 10 people you want to give presents to this Christmas and you spend $50 on each item. That is five hundred dollars saved if you just recycle your presents you have once received. Of course, the presents must be in good working condition and still looks new if you want to give them away.
Save Time
You save on a lot of time shopping and window shopping for the perfect present for the person. You scout the internet to find gift ideas, and then you look for the best deals around. All these takes time. If you love to shop, you may not mind doing these things. But I’d rather spend the time on other more satisfying and rewarding activities. I also hate to jostle with other Christmas buyers, especially the mad rush a few days before Christmas.
Save the Environment
Yes, in an effort to do my part for the environment this Christmas, recycling presents is the way to go. Everyone should play their part, and this is my way to do the little bit for Mother Earth. You may have other ways to help save the environment.
Get Rid of Clutter
Clutter get accummulated very quickly in the course of a year, until Christmas comes again. You may have not spring cleaned for ages and a lot of unwanted and forgotten items have gathered around the house. Then it is a good idea to go around the house with a small box and put in those presents you have received months or even years ago, and go ahead and recycle them. In this way, you get to clear your house at the same time.
More Useful to Others
You must have kept the presents for a long time, without knowing what to do with them. You have no use for them or the clothes given just do not fit in your fashion style. BUt you know in your heart that the present would be most suitable for this person and that person, since they like “this” and “that”. So I guess there is no harm giving presents away to other people who would have use for them and really appreciate your kind gesture.
Ultimately, you have to decide whether it is appropriate for you to recycle presents. If, like me, you have no qualms about it, then recycle them. If you do, then hold on to the idea for next year. Maybe you will enventually get round the uneasiness when giving away presents you have previously received. Happy recycling!

You are right, just make sure you are not giving a recycled gift to same person who gave you, or one of their friends.

Yeh I agree with MJ just make sure you don’t give back the same present. That would be embarrassing. Hey good advice here Sydney. Well done.
