Ways to Save Money

During this rough economy, here are some ideas for saving moola.
- Alternate your jeans. You can wear the same pants again throughout the week and not throw them in the wash every day.
- Put a bucket in the sink. This will catch water, which you can use to water your plants.
- Only buy it if you need it. Obviously this is not the time to go buy a Prada bag.
- Cook more, eat out less.
- Walk to the close destinations, stop driving so much.
- Go running around the neighborhood instead of signing up for a gym membership.
- Hang clothes out on a line to dry and reduce use of dryer.
- Reuse, reuse, reuse.
It basically all comes down to the old three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Remember learning about that way back in the day? Yeah….don’t forget about it. Not only does the three R’s help you save money, but it also helps protect the environment. As they have all been saying, time to go green!
Plastic grocery bags can be used as trash bags and then you won’t have to buy separate trash bags at the store. Cheap makeup works just as well as some of the more expensive stuff like Lancome. Use both sides of the paper when printing and recycle your ink catridges. All you have to do is send them back in the mail in the envelope that comes with it and you don’t even have to pay postage. Mix and match your old outfits to create new ones. You don’t have to buy new clothes every two days.
You’ll be saving money in no time and you might even have a little extra left over to donate to a cause! Yay, save hungry children.
