The Five Best Ways to Make Cash Fast Online or in Real Life

No matter how you got into this position, the bottom line is: your bottom line is a red zero or, worse yet, a huge number with a negative sign in front that means you’re not only broke, you’re in debt up to your ears. What do you do right now to fix your situation or at least alleviate the pain enough to go grocery shopping? Here are some tips to help you bridge the gap between broke and earning your first million.
Get Free Internet
You don’t have to keep paying for the high fees to maintain your wireless connection at home. Sure, it’s great to be able to surf all hours, but when you don’t have cash to pay for it, it becomes a luxury. Find out all the places in your city or town that provide free wireless and then take your laptop with you to surf on someone else’s dime. Many public libraries offer free wireless which has an added benefit in that you aren’t compelled to purchase coffee while you surf and you also have access to thousands of books, magazines and newspapers all without cost.
Have a garage sale
Find free online ads to publicize your sale such as CraigsList.com and then make signs that you can post at major intersections where lots of cars will see your signs, then make sure you continue with signs at each turn those cars will need to take. Start unloading anything you don’t absolutely love and use such as clothing for the entire family, household items, electronics, video games, hunting and fishing equipment, and toys.
Sell big ticket items on eBay
If you have expensive items you’d like to sell, put them up for auction on eBay and get the best price possible. Make sure you take excellent photographs and give exacting details on the item so that potential buyers know exactly what they are purchasing. If you have a large collection, consider the pros and cons of selling the collection all in one lot, or making several smaller groupings to sell.
Search online for market prices
Before selling off your personal items, make sure you search the Internet using Google or Yahoo to find similar or the same items online that are in comparable condition. See what the going rate is for the items before you sell yours at a garage sale or eBay to make sure you will be getting what your item is worth and also make sure the buyer is still getting a good deal. Make print outs of the Web pages you find to back up your asking prices.
Take a night job
Many jobs that require over-night work pay a higher rate than day jobs to compensate for the difficult hours. If you’re a night owl already, consider taking on more work that will pay more for less hours and put more cash in your pocket sooner.
Contact your county aid office
If you truly are broke and have no idea how you are going to buy food and pay for living expenses for your family, your county most likely has an aid agency that can help with immediate problems such as food, rent and electricity. Contact these agencies early and ask for help.
At some point in life, everyone will go though times of financial struggle. The best you can do is get through it each day, learn how to bounce back and keep a keen eye on budgeting and where you can cut out luxuries. After a few months, when the trouble is over, you can start getting back the lifestyle you enjoy.
