Plan Well to Beat the Recession

Ways in which you can be out of a job and still make lots of money. There are many ways to beat the recession and the first step is to look into what you currently know or are good at…regardless of what it is. There is always the possibility of finding a market for your “widget”.
Well, it’s official. The recession is in full swing, and with all the efforts of President Obama and other powerful people around the world, it could very well end in a short while or keep right on going for quite a few more years. Nobody knows for sure.
If you had any doubts, consider the fact that statistics have shown that the number of ongoing unemployment claims recently hit a staggering 5.56 million… which is the highest level since the government first started tracking these statistics in 1967!
The people on Wall Street have no answers, bailout plans do not seem to be working and corporate giants are on the verge of collapse!
So even as businesses scramble to stay afloat — by laying off more and more workers — men and women who have lost their jobs are having more and more trouble finding new ones.
So, what’s the answer?
A very intelligent man once said, “Necessity is the mother of invention”. I believe that right now, we all are in t he midst of a vast desert full of necessity.
Some people have already started solving their problems. If you should jump on Google and type in words like “new innovations”, “renewable energy”, “geothermal energy sources” and “solar power”, you would be amazed at the number of results that you receive. The reality is that many people have realized the need to stop depending on large companies in order to make money. People are beginning to look deep inside themselves and pulling out mind boggling inventions that will effectively shape our future.
And guess what? Most of these peopl are working from home and earning a sizable income!
Recently I was watching the discovery channel and I saw where inventors were working on devices to harness the power of waves, tide levels and tide currents in order to produce electricity.
It is just amazing!
Another way that people are defeating this recession is by the power of the pen. Or maybe we should now say the power of the keyboard.
We know that anybody could write. We also know that as long as you are quite conversant about a particular procedure to make or accomplish something, you could write about it, and believe it or not, there will be a market for you.
You could also enter high paying writing competitions for poetry and short stories such as the annual Bridport, and Fish writing competitions…. as well as numerous others littered around the web. You could join writing forums and take courses to hone your skills if you think that you are a bit rusty.
If you got the knack for advertising (or even if you currently don’t) you could check out awaionline.com or go to makepeacetotalpackage.com. These are great places to jumpstart a copywriting career that could put six figures into your pockets every single year.
In addition, you could check out copywriting guru Bob Bly or million dollar copywriter Carline Cole. These people constantly make millions and are in so much demand that they turn down more projects than they accept. Niches like these are therefore ripe for more competition.
So, if someone asks questions like these, “Can we beat this recession? Can we survive in the midst of so many lay offs, bailouts and bankruptcies? Can we make it in what is fast becoming a jobless society?”
The answer is YES, YES, YES! Just focus on what you’re good at, and there is definitely a market for you.
Reach out and take your opportunity!
