A bolted Safe-This is a good place to hide your money or other valuables, as you are the only person who can get into it. Make sure the safe is bolted down, otherwise a thief can just take the whole safe with them and open it at their leisure.
Inside of a fake can, flashlight etc.- There are many places where you can buy money storage units designed to look like something else. The downside to this is the only way it will work is if you keep the item in the right spot. People will not be fooled by an unopened can of tuna in your bedroom drawer.
Fake wall outlet- This is my personal favorite, as the wall outlet itself can be in plain view and still hide the money inconspicuously. Preferably this is in a place that only you use, so people do not try and stick plugs into your hard earned cash. You can find these with a simple online search.
Child’s room- One of the last places a burglar would look for money or valuables is a child’s room, due to most parents not trusting their kids with a lot of money. This makes it an ideal place to hide money.
Old electronics- An old cd player is a great place to hide money. Just unscrew it, open it up, put the money in, and put it back together. This works for any electronics you do not plan on using. Make sure that you do not get rid of the equipment while there is still money inside though!
Freezer-Hiding money in the freezer is an old trick. But it can work well, especially if you hide the money inside of something in the freezer, like a pizza box in the bottom drawer.
No matter where you choose to put your money, whether it be in a safe or a fake roll of toilet paper, remember the location. Leave yourself a clue somewhere if necessary, but if you forget about the money, all the effort you spent hiding it was wasted.
