Making Extra Money During The Recession
A discussion on the recession and the most popular ways to deal with it.
The financial crisis has made living comfortably a difficult task all over the world. They call it a but it’s starting to look more like a depression. People are looking all over for a way to make money to care for their families. Last month my daughter went to Mcdonald’s for a jobei thinking that she would surely get the job but little did she know that there would be 135 people there to interview for the same minimum wage job. She was not only disappointed but was faced with the decision to stay and interview and possibly take a job that someone else may need to put food on their table or just leave and forget about having Christmas for her own 6 kids. Needless to say, she decided to go home to her kids and appreciate the little things she does have. I felt so bad for her that I couldn’t get out of there fast enough only to hurry to my car so I could cut loose and let the crocodile tears flow like rain. It hurt me terribly to hear my daughter say I just don’t know what I can do, I’ve cut all the corners I can and it’s not enough.
On the drive home I couldn’t stop thinking about the whole thing and wondering how many other young moms and dads are facing that kind of disappointment in their lives today. I started thinking of ways I could help my daughter and help other people at the same time.
That’s when I came up with my idea for my web site.I decided to call it Families United. I’m hoping that people will use it as a free advertising page where they can leave a variety of money making and money saving ideas and tips to help a younger less experienced generation. I would invite anyone to post Recipes, how to’s for any maintenance or repair jobs, community events for families. Anything that may help these young families get by during this financial crisis. It won’t cost anyone a red cent. Sometimes your knowledge is worth more than whatever may be in your bank account. So come on join us and tell these kids how to save money at the market or maybe to use things around the house for added insulation to conserve energy. Last but not least maybe you may have an idea on how they may be able to make some extra money. Click on. Share your thoughts. Maybe you know a craft project for the kids or a recipe for moms. It will all be welcomed.
