It All Adds Up

Managing your finances wisely is not really complicated. All you need is some attitude adjustment.
Below are some tips that might help us manage our money better:
- Start Saving. It’s easy, once you get the hang of it. Start small. Cut back on little luxuries. There are actually a lot ways with which to cut back on our expenses, we just need to be more creative. It might even be a good idea to save a portion of your monthly salary and keep this for future emergencies.
- Keep your loose change. I have two piggybank where I put all my loose change at the end of the day. Some of you might think this will not be a lot, but I tell you, over time, they really add up. A lot of times, they’ve helped me pay the bills.
- Spend most weekends at home. Just laze around the house, prepare a nice meal for the family, watch DVDs with some popcorn. This will really help in spending time with the kids without the distractions of a mall.
- Buy by bulk. This will actually cost less in the long run, and you’ll save a lot of money.
- Buy good quality. This goes for shoes, or other products for that matter. It’s definitely cheaper to buy expensive products that you’ll use for a long time, rather than buy a cheaper one that you’ll have to replace in a few months.
