How to Make Your Dollar Go Further with Just a Click

Helping you shop more wisely and save whenever possible.

This article is for those who have bought something in one store only to find out too late that it was on sale at one of the other stores.  I know I’m not alone here but I’ve learned to shop just a little smarter now.  I found something I want to share with you and now you to will be a much smarter shopper.

All of us have felt the fall of our economy and it has changed us.  The way we live, the way we drive, and the way we shop.  I have heard that it will get worse before it gets any better and for some… that is very scary news.  We no longer go for a Sunday afternoon drive, eat at our favorite restaurants, or take in a movie a few times a month.  We have learned that changing our light bulbs, turning off our computers, and being a savvy shopper is becoming the norm.

If your town has a Sunday paper then you should be able to find out who is having sales and exactly what items are on sale.  If you do a search on your computer for the Sunday newspaper weekly sales circulars & Sunday newspaper ads….   you will find a site that is extremely helpful in making you become a much smarter shopper.  You won’t miss any more sales as most stores that advertise in your local paper will be listed in this site.  You will now be able to save money with just a click of the mouse.  Okay….. start clicking!!  You have now become a smart shopper and what is the word of the day?    SAVE!!

  1. You bring a whole new meaning to the phrase, click ‘ til ya drop.

… I mean shop ‘ til ya drop.

  2. Sometimes I’m a smart shopper, sometimes I’m not. It all depends if I’m in a hurry or not. When I need something right away I really don’t look for sales. When I have time , then that’s a different matter.

  3. Thanx guys… I actually put in the website but they tossed the article back to me as they couldn’t publish it with the website. I tried.. with the info I put out there for you it should take you right to it. Enjoy…

  4. Very sensible tips, Karelee. I never go grocery shopping without making my list with the help of the local grocery flyers. I find it’s cheaper to drive to the various stores for the sales than it is to shop all in one store. I stock up on a different item each week and buy in bulk.

  5. I try to save money every way possible. Thanks for the tips.

  6. Wherever you are, or whatever your circumstances, you can save money by living below your means. Thanks for the good advice Karelee.
