Making money at the flea market is not difficult to do. You must have a passion for selling and not afraid to talk to people. Unlike people would like to believe, items do not sell themselves, you must have a sales pitch at the flea market as well.

- Locate any unwanted goods around your house and apartment. If you can not part with anything, there are other ways to get inventory to sell at the flea market. Check your local classifieds for garage sales and bargain for the lowest price so you can make the most money when you set out your wares to sell at the flea market.
- Attend a local flea market packing your wares in the early morning hours preferable on the weekends of Saturday and Sunday’s. Tables are rented inexpensively and you should get a table at the end of the line of tables for better visibility.
- Do not expect the items to sell themselves from the table though price inexpensively to sell. Flea markets are festive places of open air fun and should be a place to talk to people as well as to sell. Some patrons at the flea market like to talk and will buy after having a short conversation about the product. So talk, talk, and talk some more. And do not forget to check to weather and reschedule so that you will only sell on the pleasant days for more sales.
