How to Earn Extra Cash in Your Spare Time

Whether you’re a student right now, or you’re in a full time job, then the fact that we are in recession cannot have escaped your attention. With this being the case, we all seem to be earning less in our jobs while everything around us is starting to cost more. This means that we are going to want to start earning some extra money in our spare time, and luckily, there are things that you can do in order to make this dream a reality.

Firstly, it would be a good idea to have a good clear out of your home and see if there is anything that you could get rid of. If you have some quality items, then you could try to sell them on the internet and then post them to the winning bidders. If the items that you’re selling aren’t that great, but you know that you would like to get rid of them anyway, then taking them to a car boot sale might be a good thing for you to do, as it means that you would be able to get at least a little bit of money for the things that you’re sure will no longer be of any use to you.

Once you have done this once, you will know how easy it is. You should do this about every year or every other year, as you would be amazed at just how many things can build up over the course of time; most of which you won’t even remember buying in the first place. 

If you have a skill, then this is a real way that you are able to earn money. Write a list of things that you’re willing to do for money on a flyer, and include the prices that you would like to charge, and then post them through the doors of your neighbours. This means that they would be able to get in touch with you when they would like something to be done. You might find that your friend needs their garden doing, and this is something that you enjoy to do at the weekend for example. This could be some regular work for you and it would mean that you could make a little bit of extra money while you’re not at work. If you are offering to do things that you enjoy, then it won’t even feel as though you’re doing proper work, yet you would still get some money at the end of the day. 

If you are good at writing, then there is a lot of chance for you to make money by writing some articles about the things that interest you in life. You could sell these to your local newspaper or magazine, and tell them that you would be more than happy to write similar things in the future. This means that hopefully you would be getting plenty of work from people as your name spread through word of mouth.
