Greg’s Blog: Day Eight (Closer)

Another busy night, another problem sovled.

So, we just got home from the DMV. Spent two and a half hours waiting on those people, not fun with three kids. But, we are finally free of that problem, and now we can move onto taxes. Not the best thing for some people, but when you’re as poor as us, and have three kids, tax season is like Christmas for adults. Although I totalled our mini-van in Dec., so the money will be sunk into a vehicle and family debt. No adult Christmas this year :( .

No candy, no movies, no games, no soda, worked out before leaving work, and I’ll be reading my bible in bed again tonight. Also, read a book to david. My middle child, KK, past out on me in the car ride home, and Lillian, the oldest, is very upset right now about report card money that was put on hold for a little while. It’s a rough life being 9, at least, she thinks so.

So tired tonight, and was thirty minutes late to work today. Go figure, I actually got into bed at ten last night too. Maybe tomorrow will morning will go better. I’d really like to see a movie. Something about coming home after work and chores all day, and floppig down on the couch to relax with a movie and soda. Might beg my wife for a in-home movie date. Not against the rules if it’s spending time with her. Then again, she’s well aware of my month long blog, so she might cancel that plan. I’ll let yall know, try her up on Friday or this weekend. This week is too packed with obligations.

Alright, time for a tomorrow pledge. Hmm? Got it, think of something to be thankful for, and thank God for it. Has to be something different every day. And, though I might be stretching things too early in the month, I’ll also think of something to tell each member of my family and extended family something I’m thankful for because of them. I’m gonna have to write this one down. A lot of memory being spent this month on keeping myself in check. I do have to admit though, I feel better so far and I’m only on day 8.
