Cut the Cost of Your Fuel by More Than Half

As petrol prices are now on the way back up again, it is a good idea to switch to LPG.

As we have all experience over the past 12 months the price of petrol and diesel is on its way up again . Here in the UK unleaded is 90p per litre and diesel has gone over the pound mark.  So what is the alternative , part from driving slower and more carefully. The real alternative is to switch to LPG (liquid petroleum gas). The current wholesale cost of gas from the main retailers in  the UK is now just 40p per litre, below below half the cost of diesel and petrol. So if you were filling your tank with diesel at your local forecourt you would expect to pay £45.00 to fill your car whereas if you visited your gas filling station you would not expect to pay more than £18.00, a staggering saving of £27.00. If you are like me I travel 550 miles per week, so on an annual basis I save £3375.00 per year.

I bought my Honda Civic 1.8 sport nearly 3 years ago and it converted to gas .In a another 12 months time I will have saved  £13,500 or put it another way I will have had a FREE car. Changing to LPG has got to be a consideration as I am sure we would all appreciate a free car every 4 years.
