I am sharing my personal experience on revenue sharing sites. Like most of the revenue sharing sites like Hubpages , Triond , bukisa etc. most of them generate revenue by adsense. But like all starters its not easy to make enough money from adsense. Most people fail with adsense in the beggining then they give up. I used to make some cents on my own adsense account with my blog but never made enough (like 100$ a month, thats enough to pay my internet bill ). But now I am able to make more then I wanted (actually double).

Making cents with Adsense?

Before Last year I was only making some cents a day with adsense . It was funny because my blog had good traffic but they were not converting. My CTR was way low (around 0.2% or so) and the clicks that happened were only a few cents (1 cent to 3 cent). Like all of you guys I have looked everywhere on the net. I knew some people were making good money even with low CTR (2%- high paying ads). But they were not interested to share it (at least for free). During that time I learned enough to write and promote article using tools like social bookmarking etc. Finally my blog started getting readers (now its averages 200 on one blog and 400 on other blog per day). Its not much but its enough to keep me interested.

Things you should know

I knew from my past experiences that keyword research, quality article , link building mattered. But I did only what I could find on the Internet. But real profit started when I bought a stupid book. Let me tell you, I am not the kind that buys stuff from the Internet. But some guy from Black-hat forum pointed me to this book (when I poked him enough). I wasn’t ready to shed money (seriously), but he said that I would learn everything about Internet marketing in time, but this book is really really good to propel you further (hence saving time). So took a hard step (of spending my pocket money). And bought this Book (as recommended by him). And Now I have earned enough to not only cover my book expense but my pocket money too.

I don’t expect to make thousands of dollars a month, It would be hard. But a couple of hundreds a month is not bad at all (not for me at least). I highly recommend the book, If you are making cents this is what will make you earn dollars
