How to Move Into College
A guide to help you getting through the moving into part of college.
Well, it’s that time of year again. It is starting to get colder, the days are shorter and people are starting school. You are probably really psyched to go to college or you are filled with dread at the thought of it, but hopefully this will help to make at least moving in a little more clear and less stressful.
We all no how nerve racking moving into a new place can be. You always wonder if you packed too much or you packed too little or if you forgot your stash of money under the mattress, but the first thing you should ever do is make a list of stuff.
You shouldn’t over do your list of things but you do need the necessities and a little extra. What is a necessity and what is your extras I will leave it to you, but it does help to go through everything you own and sort it on a list. Also you need to look at the stuff that the dorm doesn’t have and bring it. For example, bed sheets dorms normally don’t come with these so they are a must have. Also some but not all dorms have a wired Internet plugged in and not a wireless connection so you might want to consider bringing a cord.
These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. If you have any more suggestions I’m sure everyone would find it helpful if you wrote suggestions in the comments below
