I was recently watching a program on the television called “How Clean is Your House?” It is such a wonderful program. Two women named Aggie MacKenzie and Kim Woodburn, host this program and their mission is to clean the dirtiest house in Britain. They tell you how to clean your house with simple things that are available in every household. I learnt the many uses of vinegar when watching this program. Shall we look at the uses of vinegar?

2. Get a dirt-free fridge: Take half cup of water and vinegar in a container. Dampen a cloth in this mixture. Wipe the dirt from interiors of the fridge. All the dirt from the fridge is now gone. Image via channel4

Removing stains in stainless steel items: Many a times, you might see stains in stainless steel items. It is easy to remove these stains with the help of vinegar. Dampen the cloth with vinegar and simply rub it on the stains in the stainless steel items. Stains will vanish in a jiffy.

  17. I make an all purpose cleaner from 2 cups of water, half a cup of vinegar and a squirt of liquid dish soap and use it in a spray bottle. Costs only pennies and cleans better than any store bought product on the market! It does a super job on windows too! If you don’t like the smell of vinegar, you can add a drop of essential oil as well. The smell of the vinegar goes away as soon as it dries.
