How to manage your storage?
- Use containers of boxes of different colours to store the different decorations for each holiday. For instance, red for Chinese New Year, green for Christmas and blue for New Year`s items. This way, you will know which box to pull out at a glance.
- Make a list of the items stored in the box and tape it to the container to avoid having to dig through an entire box just to check if you have what you need
- Do not have enough space to store all your boxes of decorative items? Group them by holiday and store them in different places. For example, keep all the red Chinese New Year boxes in the store room, and all the New Year`s ones in the garage.
- A holiday planner is useful for keeping track your holiday items and activities. Not only can you jot down where you keep your various holiday boxes, you can also use it to organize your holiday recipes, gift ideas and mailing list.
