Saving Money with Pintrest

What is Pintrest you ask?  Pintrest is a social networking site that literally has thousands on ideas on cooking, crafts, books, design, interior decorating.  In fact, you name it, I am pretty sure you will find it on Pintrest,

Pintrest is a site that is open by invitation only but is well worth joining.  It can help you save money and here are a few ideas I have on how Pintrest can save you money:

Learn to eat from home.  One rule of thumb I have is never to go on Pintrest when I am hungry because there are so many appetizing ideas on there along with the recipes.  These pictures and recipes are destined to bring out the cook in anyone!

Craft Ideas.  Even if you just a little bit crafty, there are great ideas.  Frugal ideas such as making a snowman out of bottle caps or a penguin out of an old light bulb.  I also have seen great furniture and shelves made out of old skids.  Pintrest is a great place to spark your creativity!

Gift Guide.  Pintrest is a great gift guide and can help you plan out your gift giving even before you hit the stores.

Do It Yourself!  Pintrest is a fantastic place to find ideas for things to make for your house and for yourself.  I have found them using an old rake for a necklace holder or how about sprucing up that old wood desk?   In fact, Pintrest can help you design your whole room!  Save money on household cleansers with many suggestions and recipes as well.

Spending time on Pintrest can save you money because you can browse Pintrest like you would a shopping site but it is free and who doesn’t love to window shop?

Pintrest is a parent’s dream!  Homeschooling your child?  There are lots of ideas on there to help you.  Even if you are looking for books to read to your child or games to play with them, Pintrest is your place to find them.

Passion for fashion?  Pintrest is your go to in order to see what is in fashion right now and it is a great site to help you use what you have and mix it up a bit!

A word of caution though,  Pintrest is a highly addictive website!  So be careful or you will be addicted too! is
