Cleaning stains from tobacco

Cleaning stains from tobacco on color fabrics

Stains on all color fabrics are deleted first with alcohol, then wipe with a 2-5% ammonia solution, which should immediately be washed with water. Seats are dry with a dry cloth and dry in the shade. If traces remain, depending on the fabric colors, they are treated with 1-3% solution of hydrogen peroxide, washed with water and dried.

Cleaning stains from potassium permanganate

a. Stains on white fabrics are cleaned, and immersed in warmed to 25 ° C aqueous solution of potassium iodide (20 g of potassium iodide in 100 cm3 distilled water) and kept there until their discoloration. Areas cleaned rinsed several times with cold water.
b. Aging brown spots potassium permanganate are first processed in the manner described in paragraph “a”, then the other tissue in it traces of stains immersed and kept for 10 min in 8% solution of acetic acid and finally rinsed in a 15% solution of salt.

Cleaning stains from rivanol

Stains are moistened with 3% ammonia solution and let stand 2-3 hours. Then rinse with water and immediately wetted with 5-6 drops of 6% solution of potassium metabilsulfit (used in wine). Seats are washed several times with clean water, dry with a clean cloth and leave outdoors.

Cleaning stains from silver nitrate

Soak the stain with a swab dipped in a 15% solution of salt, to which are added a few drops of dilute hydrochloric acid. Then clean the areas treated with hot 10% solution of sodium thiosulfate, rinsed with clean water and dried outdoors.
