Pour rubbing alcohol with some water in a bucket. use this to thin and remove paint from metal items then use a brilo pad or something of the sort to scrape it off Or put some on a towel and rub it to remove paint in layers. This may work for wood too. Not sure.

I keep rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle in the bathrooms. It is great for disinfecting the counters/sinks and the toilet area. It really smells clean and kills odors. I also spray on carpet after our dog urinates (accidently, of course). It kills that strong pet urine smell.

I also use rubbing alcohol as an after bite remedy. It cuts the sting down tremendously while providing relief and actually helping my skin. It makes my skin super soft and healthy.

When I have guests, my kitchen floor always takes a beating !~So I use alcohol to get rid of the skid marks on my white kitchen floor. It works better than any cleaning product which does not work at ALL!
