Window

People use to keep windows in their houses feeling it to be very essential for comfortable living. Windows are important as the doors are. There are (screens,cloth,curtain) in some houses used in the windows for keeping the rooms of the house neat and clean. If no screen is there then the rooms are felt to be very open and sometimes what happen some nearby children come and start watching TV or the invitee from outside. Generally this happens in the rural areas. At the time of having dinner or lunch most people do not want that other should see their eating, for which most of the people irrespective of villages and towns and cities use to keep screen in the windows. Few years back most of the houses in the rural areas have no system of keeping windows in their houses as most of the houses were made of bamboos and straws. The people in the rural areas make windows themselves with the help pf bamboos. They cut the bamboos in various designs and finally they make the windows. It was their culture.

Some people like to use glasses in the windows of their houses and buildings for having sufficient power from outside and also they can see the outside from the inside. Generally the owner of every house has an idea about the placement of windows and accordingly the carpenters are given the directions. In the schools, colleges and in the offices there are a number of windows for facilitating the students and teachers and other office members to stay comfortably. The windows are generally three to five feet in its width and three to four feet in its height. In the roadside houses the housewives use to observe the strangers going and coming in the street. They get very pleasure by doing so. 

The term ‘window’ is sometimes used to mean some window like things. Many people use to say our ears, nose, eyes etc. as to be the doors and windows of our body. Windows are a important part of the houses. Thank you the people who introduced this idea of using doors and windows I our houses.
