White Vinegar and Its Many Uses

White vinegar can be used in hundreds of ways.
White Vinegar has been around for an extremely long time and over the years people have made many discoveries on white vinegar and what it can be used for. White vinegar is cheap, economical and can be used for cooking, cleaning, gardening, pets and so much more. Here are some of the many uses for White Vinegar
Use It With Food
It happens now and again when we boil eggs, one hits the pan to hard, the shell gets cracked and now the egg white is leaking out into the hot water. Well, by adding some white vinegar to the water before you put the eggs in will prevent the egg white from leaking out if one gets cracked.
For those tough pieces of meat, white vinegar can be used as a meat tenderizer. Use one part white vinegar to two parts hot liquid such as water, oil or bouillon. Rub the mixture well into the meat and allow to marinade for at least two hours before cooking.
Out of salad dressing? Make an easy vinaigrette dressing by mixing one park white vinegar to four parts oil. Mix well and pour over salad. For a creamier dressing use one-part vinegar to three parts oil then add whipped cream and mix.
Add a little vinegar to the boiling water when cooking pasta. This will reduce the amount of starch on the pasta and make them less sticky.
Add a little white vinegar to your deep fryer when using it. Doing so will reduce the greasy, oily taste in your food, from preparation.
On Your Vehicle
White Vinegar used at full-strength will polish the chrome on your car, truck or SUV.
When washing your vehicle add a little vinegar to the wash bucket and wash. Doing this will make your vehicle shine.
Remove inside window grime and haze by spraying them with white vinegar and wiping clean.
Easily clean your vehicle interior by wiping it down with a half and half solution n of water and white vinegar.
For soda or juice spills, use a mixture of half water and half white vinegar. With a cloth dipped in the solution, blot out the spill. When removed blot dry with a clean towel.
Outside and in the Garden
To get rid of unwanted weeds suck as the ones in cracks in the walkway, spray them with full-strength white vinegar.
Add vinegar to your watering can when watering. Doing so will increase the acidity of the soil.
Do you have an ant problem? Pour white vinegar onto the anthill to wipe them out.
To clean birdbaths and feeders, scrub them with full strength white vinegar. Be sure to rinse well.
Clean and sanitize your outside patio furniture by wiping them down with a half half mixture of water and vinegar.
On Your Animals
Help get rid of fleas by adding a small amount of white vinegar to your pet’s drinking water.
Since cats dislike the smell of vinegar, spray it in places that you do not want your cat to be. Make sure to test in an unnoticeable area first.
To keep your dog from itching its ears, dip a cloth in white vinegar and wipe out your dogs ears on a regular basis.
To remove water lines in fish bowls and tanks, wipe them out with a cloth dipped in white vinegar. Rinse well, when done.
For Health and/or Beauty
For a whiter smile and nice breath, brush twice a week with white vinegar.
For a bad sunburn mix white vinegar and water in equal parts and spray onto sunburn. This can be done as often as needed.
If you have dandruff since your hair with a mixture of two cups warm water and one-cup white vinegar. Do this a few for a few days and you will begin to see results.
If you have been on your feet all day and they are soar, soak them for 30 to 45 minutes in two gallons of warm water with one cup of white vinegar. A pumice stone can be used afterward to easily remove dead skin.
Mixing one-cup vinegar with two cups warm water and soaking your toes for 20 minutes a day for a few days, can get rid of toenail fungus.
Cleaning around the House
As it can with vehicles, white vinegar can be used to polish chrome sinks and faucets, as well as remove grime and build-up. With a solution of one-teaspoon white vinegar and two tablespoons of salt, make a paste and clean area.
Got fruit flies? Get rid of them by placing a small bowl of vinegar out near the fruit.
Out of Windex? Make you own window cleaner. In one gallon of water, add two tablespoons of cornstarch, half cup of ammonia and one-cup white vinegar. Mix well and pour into spray bottle.
To rid your home of stale odors, dust and mildew, soak a rag in white vinegar and wipe down the ceiling and walls.
Wood paneling can be cleaned by wiping them down with a mixture of two cups warm water, one-fourth cup olive oil and half cup of white vinegar.
When doing laundry add one cup of white vinegar to your wash, and your cloths will come out lint free.
Keep your coffee pot clean and coffee tasting great by brewing a pot of white vinegar once a month. After the vinegar is brewed, follow it with two pots of water only, to rinse it out.
To remove the black soot that gathers on the glass doors of your wood stove, scrub them with a mixture of half water and half white vinegar.
