Unique Candles for the Dead

Peculiar designs of candles for your dead loved ones.
Once a year, we dedicate a special day for our dead loved ones by visiting their final resting place and by offering flowers and lighting candles, either on All Saints Day or on All Souls Day. We offer flowers to symbolize our love for them and we light candles to show our devotion by praying for the salvation of their souls.
During these two-day holidays for the dead, flowers and candles are the most in-demand products for the occasion. Here are some unique candles I found while I was spending a short vacation in our country’s “Summer Capital” – Baguio City.
These candles caught my attention because of their unusual designs.

These intricately designed candles were available in various colors – from yellow and white combination to red and white, blue and white combination and pure white. A day before All Souls Day, these candles were already sold out.

If you are a flower lover there are also available flower-shaped candles. These unique flower candles were also very in-demand. As a matter of fact, when I get back after one day at the store where I found them, they’re sold out as well like the first four unique candles above.

I had also seen some beautiful candle holders and was available in various shapes and styles.
If the cemetery where your loved ones laid in peace is windy or rainy, here are the appropriate candles you should have bought.

Aside from the unique designs of these candles, they are also scented. Scented candles are one of the most in-demand kinds of candles nowadays. Traditionally designed candles were still blockbusters during the celebration of the said holidays but more and more people are shifting to modern and unique designs pf candles.
Well, whatever designs of candles you bought for your loved ones, either simple or unique, scented or not, the single most important thing is – you have showed your love for them, at least once in a year.

We don’t put candles on the graves of our loved ones but we do put bouquets and wreathes of flowers, at Easter, Christmas, and other times during the year. Lovely candles and interesting information.
