Tips for The Home
We can never have too many tips for the home. I hope these will come in handy when you need them. Sandy feet, ants, cooking smells, you name it. There’s a fix for everything. I am also leaving you with some good uses for hair conditioner. It’s good for a lot more than advertised. I don’t know what the product companies will say about that, but it should make them happy.
Do birds peck in your plants? If so you can stop the destruction of your plants by doing this.
Cut shapes like circles, stars or shells out of cardboard and wrap them in tinfoil. Hang from the branches of fruit trees or large plants. The sunlight reflecting on them will keep the birds away.

Do you have an ant invasion? Here’s a friendly way to get rid of them.
Follow their trail to the point of entry and sprinkle cinnamon on the entry point and on the threshold. The ants don’t like the smell and will make a quick get away.
Are you expecting company and want to get rid of cooking smells?
Chop up an apple and drop it in a pot of boiling water, sprinkle in some cinnamon and get a wonderful apple pie smell.
Do your sliding doors stick? This little trick will make them slide as smooth as glass.
Spray with furniture polish and wipe clean. It picks up dirt and primes the surface so the doors glide smoothly.
Do the kids track in sand from the beach? Here’s what to do.
Sprinkle feet with baby powder and brush off before you let them in the house and bingo, no sandy floors.
Here are some things to do with hair conditioner.
Hand wash your delicates with a small amount of conditioner mixed in water. It also softens fabric.
Polish metal with hair conditioner. Pour a small amount on a cloth and rub over bathroom, kitchen faucets and garden tools. Buff off excess. It brings out the shine and prevents water spots.
Out of shaving cream? a dollop of hair conditioner will make your razor glide smoothly over your skin and it softens your skin.
Plant leaves dirty? Rub the leaves with hair conditioner on a soft cloth. It will lift dirt and leave a shine.
Got a squeaky door? Squeeze some hair conditioner onto a rag and apply to the hinges. it will lubricate the hinge and stop the squeak.

I just read this and thought it was quite informative. I recently have an ant invasion but I refuse to kill them because I think it’s cruel a person should kill an innocent creature so what I do is actually pick them up and throw them outside but I will use the cinnamon like you wrote.
