The Differences Between Living in The City and Living in The Village

This article is about our environment.

There are many differences between living in the city and living in the village. In the village we can see the clean river with its bushes on its bank and the black or grey stones in the river, with water rushing through it. In the city, the river is very dirty and polluted. We often have to shut nose because of the smell of the gutter. The village with its farms, hills, trees, foot path, meadows, fresh air and singing birds which accompany the farmers and the cowherd doing their jobs make a peaceful impression. All of these we cannot see in the city. In the city we only can see big buildings, crowds of people, wide road and various kinds of vehicles such as vans, cars, Lorries, and motorcycles, which make much noise and discharge much smoke that cause air pollution. These two different places.

The people in the rural area are very friendly and helpful. They have a specific motto, namely “help each other” which is in line with the five harmoniously. In the urban area many people live individually; they are always busy with their own business. And competition is very keen here. If one does not want to work hard, he will lose the competition and he may become a criminal or a beggar. Crimes happen every day. The motto of the city is “time is money”.
