The Best and Most Sanitary Way to Kill Rats

I hate rodents.

Rats are everywhere. What do you actually do to kill them? Kill? Yes. I might sound ruthless but that’s what they get for their wrath. They bite papers, files, notebooks, wirings, foods, plastics, etc. Some just beat them to death and I just can’t do that. Besides, you don’t see them stay foot waiting for your broom or piece of wood to just slap them to death. Rather, they roam around searching for something to bite. Hate them. The best and most sanitary way is using those commercial mouse glue boards. These products are those book sized boards that are folded and those with gluey or sticky materials in it. They are toxic free and environmental friendly. Just be sure that we don’t place them where birds and nontargetted animals can touch. We don’t wanna harm lovely beings. Place them on wall sides and corners where rats always appear. P.S. These boards are economical friendly too.

  1. We’re speaking of the four-legged variety, right?

  2. A good write from you!

  3. I can’t stand anything that is small and crawls! Thanks for the article!

  4. The only animal in the world I despise is the rat. I wish they were all exterminated. However, the soft part of my heart wants it done humanely if possible.

  5. I think this article demonstrates something a bit different from what the title describes… this is actually a great way to CATCH rats not kill them. how do you propose to do the actual killing part?

  6. Rats are awful. We can’t just let them breed and live in our homes. I let the exterminator take care of that part. Good article here. Thanks for sharing.

  7. i like rats and even though they are vermen i couldnt kill one, like you if it does get killed, do it humanely, not by poison as that is a slow and a cruel death.thanks for sharing your topic on the big rat.

  8. Nice stuff…

  9. I hate rats, thanks for the information!

  10. I live in Alberta, Canada, we are a rat free province.
However this is a HORRIBLE CRUEL method of catching any animal – no matter how much you dislike them.
these traps are cruel… the animals become stuck – wait until you find one who has chewed off its leg in order to get free.
They often struggle and become trapped worse, imagine if it were you…
they cannot help being rats, just as you cannot help being a human, please have pity on them as they value their lives as much as you value yours.
Fix your home so they cannot enter – plant plants that rats dislike the smell of.. and get a cat! But PLEASE DO NOT use these cruel traps.

  11. Good article jane -But my rat proofing tools live on my back patio.
Thier names are; Baby & Booby. They are my two black Tabbies and believe me they earn their keep. Rats gophers and what have you do not stand a chance, and there is no clean up they do not leave left overs.

  12. Extremely ingenious.

  13. Wow, Jane. This is really cruel and inhumane. As B Nelson says, they get STUCK. I’m not a big fan of rats, but this is just horrible. Best bet is to get a CAT – incredible mousers they are. And besides, we HUMANS are the worst VERMIN. We are the only species that truly HATE. Hatred kills. And LMAO @ Ken.

  14. Thanks for the advice

  15. You just need to adopt a dozen stray cats from the street and your problem is solved the natural way, kabayan.

  16. I’m from the old school and from the country. In the country, rats are the size of cats and the cats are no match. We use to pick them off with a bebe gun…but your way sounds better.

    Thanks for sharing!!

  17. I personally like have more inhuman way and some quicker way to kill them. Thanks for sharing.
