Take vinegar and fill it in a big bag. Make sure the vinegar is pure and does not contain even a single drop of water. Fill the bag with at least 3-4 inches of vinegar. Use rubber bands to tie the vinegar bag. Tie the band between the halfway of the plastic bag opening and the vinegar level and also ensure that the rubber band is not so tight that you can not stretch it or open it. Now draw out the rubber band and plastic bag open over the shower head. Place the plastic bag on the shower head ensuring that the shower head is submerged into the vinegar properly and effectively. Leave the shower immersed in the solution overnight to get the best effect. To get the best results it is advisable to tie some rubber bands on the faucet handles so as to ensure that nobody uses it or turns on the shower foe at least till the time you have submerged the shower head in vinegar. In the morning remove the plastic bag of the vinegar from the shower head cautiously. Now run the warm water on high for 2-5 mins to remove the remaining vinegar and any leftover hard water residue from the shower head. If required you can also run the warm water 2-3 times as per wish to remove all the leftovers.
