Just a few things I’ve learned as a stay at home mom.

Blood stains on clothes? Not to worry! Just pour a little hydrogen peroxide on a cloth and proceed to wipe off every drop of blood. Works every time!

Look what you can do with Alka Seltzer. Clean a toilet. Drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets,wait twenty minutes, brush and flush. The citric acid and effervescent action clean vitreous China.

Candles will last a lot longer if placed in the freezer for at least 3 hours prior to burning.

Unclog a drain. Clear the sink drain by dropping three Alka Seltzer Tablets down the drain followed by a cup of Heinz White Vinegar. Wait a few minutes, then run the hot water.

If you have plastic bowls or dishes that smell, simply make a paste of baking soda and water and rub all over the surface. Let set overnight then rinse well.

Troublesome ant a heavy chalk mark laid a finger’s distance from your sugar box and all around (there must be no space not covered) will surely prevent ants from troubling.

Energy Efficiency,this time of year, you might need a reminder on how to save money with some simple updates to your daily routine. Replace dirty filters in your air-conditioning system once a month. If you’re able to, have your outdoor AC unit under some shade. Doing so can help it use up to 10% less electricity to run. Finally, one of the best ways to save energy dollars is to use the air conditioner less. Open some windows and use your fans! The earth, and your wallet, will thank you!

Keep Cool in a Hot Car,if you’ve parked your car in the sun, you could come back to a scorching seat and steering wheel. Steer clear of the sizzle by keeping a towel or two in your car. Drape the towels over the seat and steering wheel before you leave the car and remove them when you return for a comfortable ride home.
