Homesteading Defined

The true meaning of homesteading.

Homesteading can mean many things in this day and age.

No matter where you are from or what kind of life you live you can be a homesteader.

Weather you try it in the suburbs, the mountains or the country.

If you can grow a garden and raise some animals to a point you are considered a homesteader.

I have heard many people say why they could or could not be a homesteader, but i belive any one that has the desire to do so can.

A homesteader is a person that moves out of the city limits and gives up some or all there depending needs on other people in order to survive.

So what a homesteader truly is would be a person that wants away from thier life of depending on others in order to survive and depending on them selves.

There are about as many definitions to homesteading as there are homesteaders, but the true meaning is to become as self sufficient and self confident as possible.
