Is It Better to Spray or Brush Paint

I recently had to bid on a job where a lady wants a garage painted.  There was some discusion on whether to paint by spraying it on or by using rollers.  

When you use a paint sprayer you’re going to lose a lot of paint.  It could double the paint that you will have to buy, not a good thing.  It does however get it done a lot faster, so its a good thing.

Painting by hand is slower, but some people think that the overall job is better.  You do save a lot of paint versus the paint sprayer, because you’re not losing paint in the air.

It is really a toss up on which method to use.  It comes downt to whether you want to do it fast and use more paint, or do it by rollers which is slower, but you don’t waste paint, so you end up saving some money.
