Cheap Radiant Flooring – Place The Dryer Exhaust Under The Floorboards
This is what we can afford, and this is what we are doing. We are doing cheap ways of saving energy, as we do not have money. Using the existing heat, recycling is what matters. Why should we waste the dryer heat, when we can use it to help heat the house?
Everybody likes to save money, and a lot of us who mention recycling, green energy, solar power, and all these wonderful things for the environment find ourselves being downsized to the point where we cannot afford things like solar panels, windmills, or radiant flooring.
So, we placed a pipe under our flooring, leading from the dryer, through the entertainment center, so that at least one room in the house would be warmer during the fall, winter, and spring months. It works, and is a reason to keep our clothing clean, fluffy, and less wrinkled.
Now we have excuses to do the laundry daily, we can warm our house by way of using the dryer.
We also do things like purchase solar lighting for the yard, which costs less, and saves more, than the wired kind that goes through the backyard. Rather than spending $300.00 for the wiring and the low-voltage kits, we’re purchasing, piece-by-piece, the $4.00 flashlight-sized lights for the yard.
