Economy Got You Down? Need Extra Cash? Telecommuting May be the Answer

So many people are stressed by the down turn in the economy many people are desperate for cash. But as the saying goes every cloudy day is met with sunshine eventually.

1.                          Make it more sunny start by tapping in on your skill. This means dust your canvas find your paint brushes, dust your piano, start writing that book. Use the skill(s) you knew you had but just didn’t believe it would go anywhere. Maybe in today’s economy these vary skills will take you where you want to go financially or if not can be very therapeutic in the mean time.

2.                          Start freelancing… there are many websites that now offer gigs or assignments.

Just be sure to filter our through the websites as some require a paid membership to view some jobs and/or apply to them. Writing, computer related jobs, artists, transcriptionists are in great demand always.

3.                          If you lack the skills for a freelance gig that is in demand than study! Study and explore your options, learn a new skill. There are many free resources on the Internet if you just type various alterations of the skill you want for instance i.e.

Secretary training: narrow it down to specific skills such as typing, Excel, Access training etc.

4.                          Update that resume/CV! Write the new skills you acquired and don’t forget that volunteer experience.

5.                          Start a SOHO (small office home office) equipped for the new assignments to come. If you think it, you attract it, it will come!
