The Most Perfect Waffle Ever!
Who would have thought that sweet added to sweet would not be too sweet?

In my efforts to create tasty treats for my family I have managed to create the BEST waffle I have ever tasted. Normally I eat about 3/4 of it and am finished, this time however I polished off the entire thing and even was looking for more.
I will share with you my recipe and let you be the Judge. I promise – it is not too sweet, I was very surprised!
What you will need:
1 waffle maker (Not the Belgian kind – old fashioned is better, but matter of preference)
Pancake/Waffle mix
1 Banana
1/4 Cup Good syrup (Mrs. Butterworth is what I used)
2 TBSP butter or margarine
extra margarine (for the waffle)
Cool Whip or whipped cream
Cooking spray
small frying pan
Pre-heat waffle maker – When fully heated spray with cooking spray
2 Cups pancake mix (just add water kind)
1 1/2 Cups water
1/3 cup oil
Whisk until well blended – Let set until waffle maker is heated thoroughly.
Place approx. 1/2 cup batter onto cooking part of waffle make and close. Let cook until steam stops rising from maker. While waffle is cooking prepare Banana.
Place small frying pan on stove-top place 2 TBSP butter or Margarine in pan let melt. Slice Banana at slight angle, place in frying pan and gently toss to coat with butter. Heat for approx 2 minutes on each side. Add syrup bring to boil, let set.
When steam stops rising for waffle make it is time to remove and set on plate. Will be very hot, use fork or tongs to do this. Butter immediately. Top with bananas and syrup, the top with dollop of cool whip or whipped cream. Grab fork and enjoy!
Use 1 banana per serving.
