The Backyard Debacle

This is how I would like my yard to look!

I’ve decided to create a butterfly garden in my back yard.  There are certain types of plants I must buy to attract my butterflies.  I also thought a bird bath would be nice.  A great deal of my yard (unlike the picture above) is scattered patches of grass. 

Time passes….

Today, while surveying the humble beginnings of my Butterfly garden, two butterflies approached.  It was then that I realized I have most of the foliage I need to attract the butterflies, already.  My property backs up to a preserve and, apparently, my yard is already looking like a very nice place for an arbor.

Tomorrow, I am going to start a bit of digging.  I will first get some more plants at Home Depot.  I also want a bird bath as many feathered friends seem to be appearing.  Stay tuned!
