My Own Garden

A description of how I came upon my own but not my own garden.
Well, as you would know I don’t really have my own garden. Being a renter in a very nice apartment complex I have to rely on the garden maintenance that is present here. And you know, there are very nice beds as they call them. African Violets, and small little flowers like Pansy’s and such. So, as you can see I am well pleased with my garden here at this place called something Villa. And so there are some very nice shrubs in my home made (by somebody else) garden here at the Villas. In fact I have even gone so far as to compliment the office here on their very fine choice of beautiful flowers and even shrubs here.
Now if I did have my own place would I or could I do any better. Well, I am quite satisfied with my homemade garden at the Villas. I look forward every time I see the gardener with his potted plants getting ready to implant some more of his lovely flowers in my home made garden. What will they think of next. Do I dare even enter the fray and suggest some more of my own very dear favorites. So far I haven’t gotten up that much nerve. Now of course we have some very fine window pots that are displayed besides the lovely homey cats that sit in the window sill and watch the world go by. And who knows what lurks within each apartment. Perhaps an even lovelier assortment of potted plants unseen by anyone but the hapless renter who wishes to keep his identity a secret. For what reason I simply don’t know. So again you see I am not without a garden. I have the luxury of a gardener who I do not even have to pay yet who works for me in my own very nice garden at home. Of course at Christmas season I usually get at least one Poinsettia plant for my indoor arrangement.
Now with all the rain lately the grass has an even greener look that usual. But then I have been told not to include the grass in my green garden. Although to my concern it is part of my homemade garden. Now what else could I add here. Why I do believe that I have noticed some rather large urn pots placed around with some unknown, at least to me, floral arrangements. So my paid but not by me gardener is doing a real fine job so far isn’t he. Now I believe I know a Hibiscus when I see one. And yes there by the front parking lot they are. For anyone visitor or renter to see as he or she comes into my Villa. And of course anyone else who lives and shares with me here.
Now you might ask me what would I personally like to see planted here. Well I would go to the nearby superstore and choose from their selection also. As they have displayed out front a whole variety of plants for yours and my viewing. So there you see. I have a garden and although it is not of my own doing, I am still glad and proud for it also. So thank you and have a nice planting on your next run. And I do sincerely mean that also.
