Legalization of Weed

Weed aka Marijuanna is a plant not a drug. It is illegal in MOST of the United States and many people are in jail behind it. Now I will tell you why it SHOULD be legalized.
In Northwest California, weed is legal and it is the cash crop there. If it was to be removed from there their economy will fail. If we legalize weed think how much money we will gain off this. Crimes will also decrease by a lot. Did you know it takes $35,000 to house one person in prison. Also did you know 70% of our prisons are for non violent possesion of marijuanna charges. Think removing all those people and all that money will go to a better thing. It also will increase money for our economy and raise it. Over the years of gaining all this money we can use it to pay off our national debt. This will also open more jobs for people as of growing it.
I think we should legalize it because having it legal is hurting more then helping. Weed doesnt destroy your mind or cause cancer. It also stops glycoma. It’s not really addictive and if it doesnt harm why alarm?
