Garden Tools

A typical garden tool one might immediately remember is the cutting tool used to cut the flowers or branches of plants. Some of the garden tools are similar to those used in the agriculture. Garden tools are both hand tools used by hand and power tools which use electrical power for operation. The hand tools originated from the agriculture tools like spade, garden fork, plough, garden rake, pitchfork and garden hoe. They are either made by wood, flint or bone.

With the industrialization and development of metal tools, the gardening also has got its own tools in metal forms. Most of the tools are made with iron and steel. Many industries manufacture metal tools for cutting, pruning, grass shears and secateurs.

Not only the hand tools, but also there are power tools available for a gardener. The popular lawn mover is most used in by many gardeners to cut grass. Other power tools used by a gardener include trimmers, sprinklers, mini-tractors, aerators, sweepers and leaf-blowers.
